General Policies
Hello! Take a moment to learn what sets us apart!

When you step into FURology, you'll immediately notice that we're not your typical salon. We cultivate a serene, tranquil environment that encourages calm and positive behaviors, even in pets who may typically resist grooming.
Because of this, we kindly request that you arrive on time for your appointments, and we discourage early arrivals to prevent disruption to pets already in our care. We'll always send you a text notification 20-30 minutes before your pet's grooming is completed, and we ask that you pick them up within 1 hour of receiving our message. If you anticipate any scheduling conflicts or potential lateness, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make suitable arrangements. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, but no-call, no-shows significantly impact our small family business.

New customers or repeat offenders may be asked to provide a $50 deposit. If you need to cancel, as long as it's within 24 hours of your appointment, the deposit will be refunded or credited toward a future grooming appointment. However, if you fail to show up or cancel at the last minute, the deposit will not be refunded or credited toward future appointments. We reserve the right to refuse future services or require full payment upfront for your next appointment in such cases. If you have any questions regarding our cancellation policies, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Before your first visit to FURology, please familiarize yourself with our salon rules, which may differ from other establishments you've visited. While they may seem strict, these rules are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in our care:
-
All pets must be leashed or carried for pick up and drop off. Please do not release your pet or remove their collar until directed to do so by a staff member.
-
Late arrivals may impact other appointments, potentially resulting in rescheduling or incomplete services. A last-minute cancellation fee may apply.
-
We do not have the capacity to accommodate early drop-offs without prior arrangement. If you arrive early, please utilize our backyard to walk your pup.
-
Similarly, we cannot retain pets after their grooming is complete. Please pick up your pet promptly upon completion of their grooming session. We text in advance of finishing the groom and ask that you pick up within an hour of our message. A daycare fee may apply to pets left in our care for an extended period of time.
-
We do not accept pets under heavy sedation, infested with parasites, or with severe diarrhea within the past 24 hours. Flea or tick infestations must be treated with an oral flea medication at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. Additional charges apply if parasites are found on your pet.
-
For nervous or anxious pets, we offer natural, hemp-based anti-anxiety drops or chews at the salon. Alternatively, you may use another natural anxiety reliever of your choice, but please inform your groomer beforehand. We do not accept pets under chemical restraint. If your pet is prescribed sedatives or anxiety medication, please provide your prescribing veterinarian's contact information.
-
We'll notify you via text or call before your pet's grooming is complete. If you arrive early and distract your pet, we reserve the right to end the grooming session at full cost, even if the grooming isn't finished. If your pet is still being groomed upon your arrival, please enter quietly and have a seat in the lobby. For your pet's safety, refrain from interacting with or exciting them until they're off the grooming table.
You might find these rules stringent, but we're passionate about pets and committed to ensuring each grooming experience is as positive as possible. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please don't hesitate to reach out via call, text, or email.
